INFORMATION FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES
For more information about key CLBC supports and processes, click this link.

Here you will find information sheets for individuals and families that provide important information and answers to common questions.

These information sheets were updated in fall of 2018 to include information about CLBCs new welcoming processes and range of planning options.
HOW TO GET STARTED

ILS provides Home Share services to adults who are eligible for services and funding from Community Living BC.

Once funding has been approved for you or your family member, CLBC will often provide you with up to three service providers who can offer support to you. They refer to this as ‘preferencing’.

As part of the decision to have your Home Share services provided by ILS, we are happy to meet with you to discuss what we can offer and whether we can meet your needs.

Please ask questions to ensure this is the right service for you and your family. Find out more in our Home Share Family Guide.
Home Share providers offer skilled support that can make a real difference in the quality of people’s lives. Please view the two short videos below to hear from self-advocates on how Home Share providers have helped them to address their health care needs and make connections in their community.
